Adult Jiu-Jitsu (in the Gi)
Gi Jiu-Jitsu means that we use a classic martial arts style uniform that is reinforced specifically for sport jiu-jitsu. For most students this is the most “fun” way to learn, lots of tricks and submissions using your own Gi of the Gi of your partner. If you do not have a Gi Neon BJJ has them on site or we can provide you with links to other reputable companies that sell them.
Kids Jiu-Jitsu (in the Gi)

Our Kids class is essentially the same as the adult class; however we won’t get into the tricky moves until the kids are a little older. We also use more game based learning to help the little ones retain the moves.
Old School Karate Kids and Adult

Our Karate program has deep roots back centuries to Okinawa. Old school, meat and potatoes, BRUTAL and effective Karate. We ditch the “facy stuff” that does not translate well to self defence or MMA and focus on things that work. Sure we still do “forms” AKA Kata, but that is mostly for the sake of tradition and for competitions. You will be sparing almost every class, because if you can’t fight, none of this Karate stuff means anything, it's just spicy dance class, or playing tag in our pajamas.

No Gi jiu-jitsu ditches the classic uniform for sleek form fitting rash guards and fight shorts. Some students prefer this style. No GI BJJ is a bit closer to wrestling and is the style of BBJ used in mixed martial arts like the UFC, Pride and Bellator. * We incorporate Striking into our No Gi Classes. *

Striking/MMA
Neon’s MMA classes will have a heavy focus on techniques from Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) Boxing, KickBoxing and specific Karate techniques. There will also be lots of reps on takedowns and transitioning fights to the ground, as well as recovering to stand up fighting.
